Job Duties

  • Assist with monthly, quarterly and year end closing activities, including by not limited to:
    • Monthly General Ledger Account reconciliations
    • Preparation of assigned Monthly Journal Entries
    • Uploading of journal entry template into SAP
    • Assist with the annual financial audit process by preparing various schedules
    • Participate in physical inventory if needed
  • Assist in Daily Cash Application to customer accounts
    • Apply Wires and ACH payments to customer accounts
    • Apply multiple invoice credit card payments to customer accounts
  • Monitor group email box for the Accounts Receivable Group
  • Assist Sales and Use Tax Administrator in the following:
    • Reconciling Sates and Use Tax system to the Accrual Account
    • Monthly preparation of sales/use tax reporting to corporate
    • Assist in maintaining exemption certificates in Sales and Use Tax Reporting System
    • Assist in Sales and Use Tax Audits by compiling information
  • Prepare Monthly Sales Commission file for payment
  • Assist with other accounting duties and projects as needed, or directed 
  • Plus additional responsibilities as assigned by management

Job Requirements

  • Accounting Degree with 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred; OR at least 3-5 years of accounting experience equivalent, required
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, and intermediate skills with Word and other Microsoft Office software and programs
  • Highly organized with the ability to be detail-oriented and manage multiple projects in a fast paced business environment
  • Demonstrated integrity, with a customer centric philosophy and have a strong reliable and dependable work ethic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess a high energy work ethic in a growing organization with a results orientation and strong sense of urgency
