EBSCO Information Services' helpdesk team has an exciting opportunity for an intern to join their group. This intern will help support our Ipswich campus with a variety of duties including but not limited to:

  • Respond to user requests for service, troubleshoot problems and help develop solutions.
  • Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment and arrange for other servicing needs.
  • Identify and report system issues to vendors. Monitor and test resolution of those issues sent to vendors
  • Assist with inventory check-in, storage room maintenance and recycling of old hardware.
  • Other duties as requested.

Basic Requirements:

  • High school Diploma
  • 6 months or more technical experience either through school or work.
  • Ability to lift 15-44lbs.
  • Ability to work onsite at least 15 hours a week

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous technical internship experience
  • Currently enrolled in a collegiate IT and or MIS degree program
  • Tech savvy, enjoys working with people and computers.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a very fast paced environment.
