The Media Production assistant will be an important member of the Nursing and Allied Health - EBSCO Health team. This team produces training and education videos, illustrations, and animations through creative and original techniques by applying their knowledge of software applications to create educational content for the healthcare services.

The Media Production Assistant will provide support to the Media Department, handling administrative duties and keeping the team organized. The PA will work closely with the Media Director and will be responsible for basic office duties such as scheduling, tracking, interdepartmental information collaborations and other administrative functions. This candidate will also maintain the group schedule, set and equipment for readiness and assist in other areas of media production. 


Essential Duties Job Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Media Director in administrative tasks, opening and closing production projects in project management software
  • General team administration: managing reports, data entry, inventory, and media tracking
  • Coordinate daily media requests, upload media to cloud
  • Understanding and overseeing media database
  • Schedule meetings and maintain calendars 
  • Take notes during meetings and distribute in a timely manner
  • Helping to keep the set ready and tidy
  • Coordinating talent, media editors, and consultants
  • Collection and coordination of supplies and equipment for filming
  • Any other department functions deemed necessary and appropriate


Required qualifications:

  • College degree in a related field (Broadcasting, Film, Graphic Arts, Marketing or Media Communications)
  • Good administrative/office skills, and computer literate in standard word processor, shared collaboration, spreadsheet and email programs,
  • 2+ years of experience working on multimedia projects
  • Ability to handle high volume of transactions and interact with various departments
  • Internet access to work from home
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Able to contribute to good working relationships, and to create a positive atmosphere on the production
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of employees, including management
  • Ability to perform basic media editing tasks or willingness to learn
  • Positive and strong desire to learn and grow
