The Implementation Consultants provide the support clients need as they go live on FOLIO and beyond. We analyze, document, and try to understand the client’s data and workflow processes. And most importantly, work with clients to ensure that they are using FOLIO to support their workflow as FOLIO evolves.

Depending on the client’s needs, we provide a wide range of professional services, ranging from project management, workflow analysis, systems architecture support, data analysis, custom programming, systems integration, training, acting on the client’s behalf in the FOLIO community and much more

 

Responsibilities:

The Implementation Consultant is responsible for leading large successful FOLIO implementation projects at academic libraries. Supported by a deep bench of specialists and subject matter experts, this position will help sharpen and drive EBSCO’s implementation methodology.

 

A successful candidate will be a results-oriented individual with a powerful blend of library industry and technology acumen, and proven experience with project management, team leadership, creative problem-solving, and customer relationship management.

 

You will take part in the continuous refinement and scaling of our services.

Required Qualifications:

  • College/university degree
  • 5-10 years in ILS Management/Implementation or Library experience
  • Ability to travel.
  • Ability to attend online meetings during US business hours (Eastern - Pacific)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training and/or experience in project management
  • History of successful change management and collaboration, including with library consortia or large organizations
  • Master’s degree in Library Science or Information Systems
  • Presentation and meeting facilitation skills and working knowledge of adult training and learning methodologies
  • Experience with electronic resource management
  • Prior engagement with the FOLIO community
  • Ability to pass/ willingness to take a government background check (for certain customers)
  • Ability to work a flexible daily schedule which might span early mornings and late evenings with a break between.
