EBSCO’s Stacks team has an opportunity for a Backend Web Developer with strong programming and development skills to join our team. This developer will work with Drupal on the Stacks product line.  We're looking for an experienced, imaginative candidate who can create robust code and sites and work well with a team of designers and developers. 


Responsibilities include:  

  • Analyzing customer requirements to research, plan and design the best solution.
  • Writing high quality and well-structured code following proper Drupal Coding standards.
  • Collaborating and working closely with team members to review, test and deliver features and improvements on time.


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3+ years PHP development experience
  • 3+ years HTML/CSS/JavaScript development experience
  • Knowledge of GIT version control and GIT workflows.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with Drupal or other Symfony based frameworks.
  • Knowledge of using Composer and Drush.
  • Knowledge of Drupal 8 and the module ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with integrating with third-party APIs.
  • Experience working with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Command Line tools.
  • Understanding of PCI compliance.
  • Understanding of the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Eye for design and UX consistency across platform
