We're looking for a Product Engagement Specialist to write, record, and create materials ensuring that our customers and users are successful in using our products. Also handles regular communications with customers and staff regarding product features and updates. This person will become an expert in NoveList products/features while using their communication skills to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner.

 

This position is based in our Durham, NC office and reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing for NoveList.

Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, concise, user-friendly help and training materials
  • Create/select appropriate graphic images to accompany the materials
  • Create recorded online training tutorials
  • Upload materials to the appropriate channels, including knowledgebase, product help console, YouTube, etc.
  • Maintain the entire collection of documentation and training materials, ensuring that materials are up to date and comprehensive
  • Maintain detailed product knowledge
  • Coordinate activities with other team members

 

Required:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 year experience related to marketing, training, and/or customer support
  • 1 year experience with HTML and using a content management system
  • 1 year experience with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)

 

Desired:

  • 1 year experience working or volunteering in a public library, or equivalent knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize tasks; strong organizational and project management skills
  • Prior experience with NoveList products or readers' advisory
