Job Summary

Alys Beach is seeking an experienced Houseperson to join our team. The Houseperson is responsible for the daily delivering of linens, transportation of teams, and basic janitorial duties as assigned.

 

Starting pay is $20-$21 per hour depending on experience. First day medical benefits and company profit sharing. $1,000 sign-on bonus, in addition to a Summer Incentive Program.

Job Responsibilities

  • Linen delivery to and from homes.
  • Removing all soiled linens and garbage from homes.
  • Transportation of housekeepers to and from homes
  • Load and start dishwashers.
  • Bed making.
  • Courtyard/exterior window cleaning.
  • Deliver supplies to offices and/or public areas.
  • Put away deliveries.
  • Assist in opening and closing procedures in homes.
  • Assist in putting away linens.
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Essential Job Function

  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or 50lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and/or weekends.
  • Time-management and communication (written and verbal) skills.
