Job Summary

The Activities Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the planning and overseeing the daily operations of children and family activities while ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment for our guests. This role involves supervising staff, planning age-appropriate activities, maintaining safety standards, and providing excellent service to children and parents.

Job Responsibilities

  • Promote a fun and engaging atmosphere for guests
  • Ensure the safety, security, and well-being of all children at all times
  • Assist with the planning and organization of activities, special events, themed days, group activities and other family and children’s offerings
  • Lead, age-appropriate, educational and recreational Camp activities
  • Supervise, train, and support Activities Attendants and volunteers
  • Enforce policies, procedures, and child safeguarding standards
  • Encourage, recruit, register and schedule guests to participate in recreational activities
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding schedules, activities, and any concerns
  • Manage attendance records, incident reports, and daily reports
  • Ensure toys, equipment, and facilities are safe and well-maintained
  • Handle any emergencies calmly and according to established procedures

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
  • Ability to remain calm, patient, and positive in a fast-paced environment
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
  • Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Active role requiring standing, walking, and engaging with children

Essential Job Function

  • High school diploma or equivalent (early childhood education preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience working with children
  • Supervisory experience is an advantage
