Job Summary
We are willing to train the right candidate. Previous experience building industrial control panels is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to producing quality work.
Job Responsibilities
- Build industrial control panels and junction boxes.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Install and terminate electrical components.
- Maintain quality workmanship and follow company standards.
- Work with Engineering and the production team to meet project schedules.
- Assist with maintaining an organized and safe work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned. These responsibilities are consistent with the current Controls Panel Technician job description.
Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a company vehicle.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely in a shop environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work habits.
- Positive attitude and willingness to take direction.
Essential Job Function
- Experience building industrial control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
