Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00

Job Summary

If so, All Current is seeking a detail-oriented Gear Quotations Specialist to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in our continued expansion. As our Gear Quotations Specialist, you'll be the technical cornerstone of our sales process, transforming complex electrical requirements into accurate, competitive quotations. This role combines deep electrical expertise with business acumen, offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge electrical systems while directly contributing to company growth and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

Technical Excellence & Leadership:

  • Leverage your expert knowledge of electrical systems and materials to deliver precise quotations for complex projects
  • Apply comprehensive understanding of NEC (National Electric Code) to ensure all specifications meet industry standards
  • Lead training initiatives for new quotations team members, sharing your expertise to build organizational capability

Project Management & Customer Success:

  • Manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously, expertly prioritizing deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Interpret electrical plans and specifications to quote diverse systems including elevator controls, starters, power distribution equipment, and contactors
  • Maintain seamless communication throughout the entire project lifecycle: RFQ → Quote → PO → Order → Build → Shipment

Strategic Problem-Solving:

  • Identify potential discrepancies and errors, developing insightful RFI questions that prevent costly mistakes
  • Collaborate with industry-leading gear manufacturers, ensuring accurate specifications and optimal solutions
  • Analyze vendor information to create valuable training resources for our sales team

Innovation & Growth:

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and new product developments in the electrical industry
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices that enhance operational efficiency

Job Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of experience in the electrical industry with proven electrical gear quotation experience
  • Expert understanding of electrical drawing symbols and their application across various systems
  • Strong mathematical skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and computer applications
